As far as I come regarding the issues, I believe this might the cause of the problems am dealing with. After a weekend of research, I got to concur with the fact that my audio interface (Komplete Audio 6) is not exactly the best audio device. I still haven't being able to founda way to fix the cracks a pops while using the KA 6. So that itself is almost impossible to solve, unless I re-route the audio interface and make it only an output. Now this is where I need help, I downloaded a suppose to be software that re-routes the drivers I/O to other applications I/O. The software is ASIO Link Pro, im still reading the manual and trying to understand how to route the ASIO driver in Ableton to output through my KA 6. So if any of you guys know about routing softwares I need the help ASAP.login wrote:My system: Core i7 4790k, 16 gb RAM, nvdia 950gtx, SSD. Windows 10, Live 9.7, Push and RME fireface UC. I have not come across the problem you describe.
Nevertheless your Xonar DSX sound card doesn't have proper ASIo drivers. And the NI drivers for the Audio 6 are quite mediocre.
Drivers are very very important in windows, it is really its weakest part when it comes to audio performance.
ASIO4All is not a proper ASIO driver it is in fact a wrapper for the native windows driver so it tricks the system, but the performance is bad compared to proper ASIO drivers.
On the other hand, I dont have the budget to purchase a high-end Audio Interface that works with windows preferred audio format. I believe the problem is behind the formatting of Windows Audio Media (WAM) to other audio codecs. idk im really just venturing for the first time into this realm, but I gotta admit it fascinates me.
