However, it was precisely because I was aware of my ignorance on this subject that I asked for recommendations. It's a shame you weren't around to show off your superior knowledge then, only to gloat after the fact.

My apologies, Robbmasters. I carelessly went into the wrong direction there. I'm sincerely sorry about that.

I should have reminded myself that I have similar feelings for audio interfaces from Native Instruments, despite the fact many people use those interfaces successfully. While I'd defend my position there, I should likewise acknowledge those feelings I assume you have from your experience. These types of technical problems can be very frustrating.

I'll try to stay with facts, certainly when I think someone is factually wrong.
