I use an old powered USB hub from Anker. Have Push 2 plugged in there along with 7+ other devices and have not faced any issues.
Yep, looking at the details here it seems Elektron cheaped out and sold a 7 port USB3 hub without a power supply.
I've never had issue with Push 2 plugged into my powered 7 port USB3 hubs here.
