I might have to update on day 1 just for this
"Windows users also get specialized HiDPI support – crucial since the PC platform otherwise doesn’t work as seamlessly as Retina displays on Mac. "

Log into your Ableton account and you can see for yourself. It will be different for people depending on what devices you have already, etc.

Log in to your account and it will quote you a price.
I have 9 Suite; it quoted me $229 to upgrade to 10 Standard or $299 to upgrade to 10 Suite, discounted to $239 if preordered.

worth mentioning that there's currently 20% reduction on the pre-order , so mine will cost GBP £183 for an update from Suite9 to Suite10
which is a decent price I think. I got over 4 years of use from L9 (56 months) That works out at around £48 per year.
Yes, I am weird like that.

Found the answer to my question on the upgrade page. All the new instruments and effects are only available in Suite. For Standard users like me, I'm assuming they will eventually allow for purchase a la carte.

I LOVE that they finally added I/O naming. Should've been added a long time ago, but audio only as far as I can tell? I want the same for MIDI ports. From the details I can't tell if that is included.

There is no firm release date. Once it goes through public beta and is deemed as stable as possible, it will be released officially.

With the new MIDI editor, when editing multiple tracks at the same time, can you promote notes from one track to the other? For example, say I create a C chord on track 1. Could I move the E and G to tracks 2 and 3, respectively all from the same editor?
When does the public beta start?

Well I would GUESS that you can somehow switch between the displayed MIDI tracks
to edit them and do the usual cut/copy/paste between them.

Anyone know how long this current sale goes on for?
I was never in a hurry to upgrade to Suite, or Live 10, but for these prices, I'm very tempted to grab a discount.

Lots of great no brainer improvements and some Ableton came up with on their own that I'm going to love! SysEx, Capture, Rewire improvements for Push 2 means Live just became my permanent drum machine, it's going to be great using Live in ReWire now!
Have to ask though, nothing in the release about polyphonic aftertouch or MPE? Is it coming or is it being under advertised? With the amount of devices out these days including Push 2 that could handle poly aftertouch at least it's kind of a surprising omission. Rewire improvements mean it's not the end of the world for those of us with DAWs that have poly AT etc. but I'm somewhat shocked.
