Drum Sample Library suggestions?

I like how a lot of the hip hop guys are selling kick and snare packs recently. It’ll be like 15-30 kicks, snares , etc all really well done with a consistent vibe. Things like the samples from mars $99 pack deal is certainly better value, but the last thing I want is to have to sort through 8000 kicks trying to find a handful that work for my project. That’s like shopping for records on beatport these days :p

Certainly true, i've created my workflow in dealing with these large libraries so i can access things fairly quickly without deepdiving into packs when i'm looking for something. It's a bit of a love and hate thing though, it takes work to update libraries, but once that's done, it aligns with everything else, from there on it saves me time and effort. Having said that, i'm not looking forward to sorting 40GB of samples either, this pack (combined) holds almost 80k (audio) files.
