Hi mcnitt,
Apologies, i was referring to the release notes on the AU issues.
If this release version breaks things, best to report it directly.
Best,
Daiz

Thank you, Daiz. Yes, I reported it to Ableton Support along with crash reports. Hopefully others will do the same. Cheers.

i had the same problem. arturia-presets changed parameters erratically when being loaded.
i downgraded via time machine, now everything is working fine again.
however, i'm a bit irritated how something like this can happen. my trust in auto-updates is somewhat gone
all the best!

"arturia-presets changed parameters erratically when being loaded"
...this is interesting since i have this behaviour after the last v5 (and still with v6) update with the stage73...whenever i load a preset it resets the volumepedal to -80db...i have this with live 9.7.6, 10.0.1 and 10.0.2 ...i thought it's an arturia issue so i contacted them but they weren't able to reproduce...maybe it's indeed ableton related...could you guys please check if the stage73 works like expected for you?...

We've identified a bug in 10.0.2 with certain AU plugins, which should be addressed in an upcoming beta version of Live 10.
Please also register for our

Thanks for reporting this and sorry for the inconvenience!
Looking forward to hearing from you.
Cheers,

Thanks a lot Mcnitt!
Another with the same issue.
My setup:
Imac 27 late 2012 OS:Mac Osx Sierra 10.12.6
Ableton 10.0.2 : I Re-Open a 2 maximum 3 months old session and i can't work with that project now.
Arturia V Collection 5: 2 instances of CS-80 V3 Audio Unit constantly crash my ableton session.
So,i checked with Vst version and for the moment, all working fine.

Hello there,
this is to let you know that we have addressed this issue in the latest Live 10 beta version:
AU plug-in recall errors
Be sure to read the

If you already have the beta installed, simply open it and Live will update automatically.
If you do not have the beta installed, you can
sign up and download it here. If you do not wish to sign up for the beta, no problem! The fix will also be included in the next release version of Live 10.
We hope this helps! If you have other issues, feel free to contact us again via the

For those who don't have a Time Machine backup, you can re-download 10.0.1 directly from Ableton:
http://downloads.ableton.com/channels/1 ... 0.1_64.dmg
Hope this gets fixed - either by Arturia or in Live 10.0.3!
thanks for the link... I'm having all sorts of problems with 10.0.2

I take full system snapshots of my machines daily and just tried reverting to yesterdays snapshot containing 10.0.1. Everything worked fine.
10.0.2 breaks support for Arturia plugins.
It may be confirmed for your case but I just tested Arturia on my system (I have the V4 collection) but I could load analog lab 3 without issue.
This is on Win10, 64, Live 10.0.2
Yes, I failed to specify --
this is for macOS High Sierra (10.13.4) with Arturia Analog Lab 3 (latest 3.1.0.1391) and V Collection 6 (latest).
I've just started getting this issue too. It was all fine upto a few days back. It would open fine too.

Ableton staff posted an update on the AU issues on the beta forum. Unfortunately the fix for this issue did not make it in time for 10.0.2.
Implementation is scheduled for the next beta, which will be released soon (indicated around 1 or 2 weeks from now).
Best,

Just searched the beta forums and found this report about Arturia, "Live hangs loading Arturia VSTs grouped to an instrument rack". The issue presented on both Windows and Mac. The bug was fixed on Windows but not Mac. For anyone curious, you can join the beta in your user account, then be able to view the thread below.
https://ableton.centercode.com/project/ ... E4A667B8C}
The title of the issue is misleading as the poster later discovered that the Arturia plugin does not need to be in an instrument rack, however
if the track contains both an Arturia plugin and an effect, then Ableton 10.0.2 will crash. If a track contains only an Arturia plugin with no additional effects, Ableton does not crash.
So this seems to be an Ableton Live issue, not an Arturia issue.
PROBLEM SOLVED!
Thanks for posting the bit above about the additional effects on a track with Arturia plugins... super helpful!
I was having all kinds of crashes when changing presets in Analog Lab 3 on a track in Ableton 10.0.2. As it turns out, I had a compressor on that track. I removed the compressor, and presto, no more crashes! I still wanted to send the synth track through a compressor, so I simply set it up on a return track (Send C), then sent the signal from the track with AL3 to Send C. For the output, I set it to Sends Only.
Happy days are here again, back to making music!!!
