My explanation has horrible, excuse me.

My issue is that when I want to record something (ie on the arrangement view), the source and the recording are slightly out of time. In Live 9, what I did was adjust the driver error compensation and that was that. The issue was fixed and I never had to touch it again. I followed the lesson that is provided in Live.

In Live 10, every time I shut down and restart the program, the driver error comp has no effect and I have to readjust it so the recording is in time.

The soundcard I'm using is a Focusrite 2i4.

The source being what exactly? Have you tried recording to a track with monitor off? Especially good for synced external machines.

What you describe doesn't sound like something normal, especially not with your audio interface. I have noticed with for example the TR-8, when using it's built-in audio interface for input, that you have to do something like that to get that on time when using its internal sequencer. But one solution was to use the audio interface, that didn't display this issue.

The monitor is set to off.

Yeah I know, your explanation was perfectly clear. My question was, are you sometimes switching between your Focusrite and your built-in computer sound card?
But as I said, this is not expected and you should contact [email protected]

I would use an External Effect device > compressor and adjust for latency there.
