Has anyone found a way to fix this problem? I am experiencing the same fan madness. I have search both this and other forums, and found out that it is gpu spikes that is causing the fans to run wild, but still have not found a way to prevent the gpu from going crazy.

Another issue is, that Live has no access to the complete Steinberg Catalogue, since live has no access to control Synsopos.app.

I just installed Steinberg Absolute 4 instruments and while the plugins scan and show up in Live they do not load due to this issue. Is Ableton aware and working on a fix? Live is the only DAW I run that does not prompt me to allow access to Synsopos in security settings and this makes the entire suite of plugins fail.

working on a similar issue so sharing this since i came across this post while researching and others might be looking for fixes

Turbo Boost Switcher Pro can help with this, it's available on gumroad. I don't recall the details, something about these 2019 mbps always runs overclocked and it disables this so it doesn't sit there ready to use resources that it doesn't need to. after running this the temp stays much lower, fan stays off, and macbook battery lasts for a 2 hour flight.

that said, i'm having a weird issue where live's CPU report is way off of osx's. 1% in live is 10% in osx, 10% is 50%, etc.

Maybe worth trying to charge it from a port on the right-hand side?

Interesting, never heard of that before. And here I was always using the left side....
