Generally a line out. But it seems the AudioFuse labels them speakers. That's a very complex interface as far as these things go. It seems like your connections are okay, so check the routing in the AudioFuse Control Center.

I actually get sound from interface now in headphones, but audio is very low, almost cannot
hear it. The audiofuse digital tool, indicates that audio comes from phono line 3/4, I think that
is the inputs where I have my audio cables from my hardwaresynty, hardware synth audio / stereo
out, interface....it says input.

You know this is an Ableton Live forum, right? Try Logicprohelp.com for more DAW specific help. It's a very good forum. Logic's routing is more finicky and complex.

By chance have you read the manual for your audio interface? It really should not take weeks to figure out how to get that working at all. Having a look at it things look kind of straight forward.

Sounds like you really need to start with the absolute basics of learning your interface and how to set it up. Should be easy enough to learn by following the manual.

Just to make it super easy for you:

https://www.arturia.com/audiofuse/resources

EDIT: If it's taken weeks to get nowhere, seems I doubt actually reading will help you. I have just quickly read the manual and here is what you should be doing as a starter. Cannot imagine what it's like not knowing how to solve problems.

First, forget about your synth and everything else. You are not even halfway ready to connect that if you don't know how to operate the audio interface. You need to take a step back and learn one thing at a time
  • You should connect your SPEAKER A L/R to your amp/speakers and obviously make sure they are on and you have some volume set on them
  • On the buttons on the interface under the Output Level make sure your speaker selector switch is set to A and not muted.
  • Set the OUTPUT LEVEL to MIN for now just so you don't cause any problems if your speakers/amp is set too high.
  • The DIRECT MONITOR dial must be set to COMPUTER to monitor your computer's audio. If you set it to Direct then that will instead monitor whatever comes from your inputs (connected hardware). It's like a mixer to allow you to easily take whatever is on the input and just send it to your Speakers
On your Mac you need to select the USB Audio device as your default device

Now, play some music from youtube or something and increase the MAIN volume on your interface.

Do you hear anything?

If not, do you see the meters on the interface showing an audio signal?

- If yes, you either have the wrong output selected for your speakers, the direct monitor dial is not set to computer or your connected speakers/amp is not correctly setup. Other issue could be the wrong cables being used (do you know what a balanced audio cable is? Do you have equipment designed for this type of balanced audio signal)?
- If no then you either are not playing out the correct audio device on your mac or you have some other issue you need to investigate in the software app.

If your skill level with this kind of thing is slim to none then you need to expect things to be challenging and will take some time to figure out. If it's all too much to take in and figure out then it may be something you need to consider if it is in fact something for you to really pursue because this is basically step 1 of 100,000 things to get to know.

Also, it's always a good idea to at least invest some effort into posting detailed explanations of your problem starting with the forum post... "No audio" is about as undescriptive as "Nufin working" and following up without posting details of anything in your chain is only attracting users like me who are trying to look busy to get out of cleaning up after Christmas.

I can hear the sound now but it is very very quiet, in the software interface, phono line is showing
audio activity but only if cue 1 and 2 is activated, is this an indication?

If I play a video on youtube and switch to computer mode, the sound goes to the speaker monitors, but I cannot hear any sound in headphones.
I have selected audiofuse for both in and out on my computer but its like audio goes through monitors and not headphones

Headphones look like they get routed separate and have their own source selector and mix controls. You would need to look into how they select the source to send to the headphones...

Maybe start with an overview video of the thing and do some more looking from there:

All I can really assist with from here is to keep reading the manual for you which i'm just not that interested to to at the moment.
