Re: Ableton live 10 white screen
I’m glad to see that I’m not the only person with this issue. At first I thought it was because I downloaded the new Mac OS Big Sur beta, but that was a while ago and this just happened recently. I’ve already deleted and reinstalled Live. However, I can open up an old project file and play it, I just can’t see anything. I hope I can get a fix soon, I just dropped about $1200 on VSTs. Otherwise, I’ll have to use another DAW

Please everyone contact [email protected] with your detailed setup/system, type of screen(s) and screen(s) resolutions...
We need as much info as possible to tackle this down.
thanks, and sorry for the hassle.

Re: Ableton live 10 white screen
So ableton has been generally awful in assisting on this topic - but I have a potential workaround.
First of all here's my setup:
- mac mini (late 2014) running High Sierra
- 2 USB monitors (ASUS mb168b + AOC i1601fwux) both on USB 3
I initially thought the problem was with the resolution of the ASUS monitor (the only monitor I was running initially) as for mac, ableton actually requires a 1280x800 display resolution (which it doesn't say in its shop) and that ASUS monitor is lower res.
So I ran a projector through hdmi and everything was fine - a poor long term solution however.
I then recently bought the second monitor which has 1920x1080 display resolution and guess what!? Same shit, no solution, and no help from ableton.
But, rather than running a projector this time I found this cheap little devil: https://www.amazon.es/Hanbaili-Headless ... B07C917785
So I'm now running this "ghost display" and mirroring it on one USB monitor, and using the new monitor as a secondary display. All seems sorted now.
Thanks for nothing ableton.
Really hope this helps some of you.

Re: *SOLUTION* Ableton live 10 white screen
Im using Windows 10 on an acer aspire r laptop.
Go into device manager
Go to display adapters
right click Intel (R) HD graphics 620 and disable it. (disable it only if you have more than one video card)
i think whats happening is the 2 video cards that came stock and standard with my laptop are fighting
Intel (r) graphics 620 is my integrated graphics card, my laptop has another card. NVIDIA GEFORCE 940MX
its derfy AF but whatever i can now doof around and record music. i had to do this to make photoshop work

Re: Ableton live 10 white screen
I had the exact same issue. Aspire laptop with two graphics cards.
Once I disabled the Intel Graphics 620 card in device manager I could load Ableton.
