Basically, anything high-tech without "jockey" in it that could catch on. Unfortunately, DJ seems to be the only term the uninformed public can relate to.

I don't see the term for us changing from DJ anytime soon unfortunately. I will just stick with musician/producer. What does Infusion bill themselves as? They aren't really DJ's..since they actually perform their music on samplers and whatnot.

One of these times I want to dress as a horse jockey and play a gig. ha.

... Since in Portugal, anyone "smart" would read it "Em Jay"... which means nothing...

Or do you, for instance, pronounce MJ Cole as "Mee Jay" Cole instead of "Em Jay" Cole?

I'm doing surround-sound audio, video, and DMX lighting all from Live. The current Powerbooks aren't powerful enough, so I'm using a G5. There are no performance issues so far, and it will get even easier when Arkaos release the new hardware version of VJ.

It will have to do until the wide-screen dual-core Macintel Powerbooks arrive, assuming they have a decent video card.

Live Clips in 5 make programming video & lights a whole lot easier.

Must get some sleep...

I glad to meet more people moving to the CJ concept!

Hope those Mactell will not take ages like the Powerbook G5...that never came out!
