Does anyone else have the issue that when a set with Smooth Automator is closed and reopened, none of its settings are saved? I was happy to find it then realized it is completely unreliable.

Is it just me?

To morph variations with a fader I wound up completely replacing Ableton variations with the Octascenes device https://maxforlive.com/library/device/6850/octascenes

It would be extra cool to morph through more than 2 variations on a single dial, next I'll be looking for a way to set that up... maybe a rack of octascenes with velocity zones.

Does it work well ? I coded it, thought it was cool and never used it in the real world.
It's kind of ugly.

It can get complicated quickly. I'd rather consider an X/Y pad where you can drop presets like a map and then interpolate between them.
I currently don't have time though.

It does so far, thank you for making it!

I have it mapped to a push knob so that's what I'm looking at.

it's gamer chic, it looks like an RPG display

I was just thinking I'd map a knob to velocity (or whatever) zones so 0-63 makes one octascenes chain go from (1) to (2), then 64-127 makes the next chain go from (2) to (3).
