Very generous of you
The scary thing is...no one even noticing (although its most obvious as a realtime percussionist or drummer as master timing), I guess most peeps are slaves to the click

It should be an issue for ableton...but no one notices...so there is no user feedback...although why does loopy have?

The issues is, the on beat is still on top of the metronome, but the first strike of the instrument is preemptive is slightly before so it needs to loop the full eg 2 bars but needs to fire shortly before the on best

Yeah I think I got it.
If I may, be careful with the “how comes that no one notices” type of discourse.
It’s more complicated than that, it’s unproductive and might make you seem arrogant.

Point taken...prob appears neg...the landscape of producing has changed so much in the last 20 years...I rarely track more than 1 person now, the magic of a group of peeps playing something in a live take and it just glowing feels reinforced by the lack of support/response (well except you lol)

Sheer frustration...and grief at the state of music I guess.

Im not saying in anyway that I have anything of substance but I stand on the sidelines and 95% of music that spins, I have to skip tracks as its just so very lacking in something...substance...replaced by autotune and quantise...yes its perfect...almost AI lol (generally, not all).

I dont know but it just doesnt have magic...it has perfection :-)
but I get it...and you have a diff perspective of what Im saying so I appreciate your honesty

Thank you
