Will do, thanks.
Any chance anyone knows if there's a way to batch the asd re-do process so I can run it on my sets folders?
I'm literally looking at hours of cumulative wait to start time after loading sets even after my current problem is resolved.
(unless the resolution of my problem results in speedier asd re-builds)

Do you have create ASD files turned off in your Live preferences? If so, that will cause Live to re-analyze all your files every time you open the project.

Thanks, It sure seemed like that but it was turned on.
The asd's seem to be saving now.
I'm sure it was on my side somehow (obv).
I seem to have resolved it by copying my latest beta preferences.cfg to 11.3.4.
A routine to batch convert asd's by folder to the newest format would still be really handy for those of us who have hundreds of "really long files".

I'm obviously confused so can someone please restate the benefits of the new warp system. It must be an amazing reason because it's harming my trust if Ableton Live , I now 100% believe Live 11.3,X will corrupt my existing material. And I don't know why anyone thought this was a good idea.
It's good practice to have a couple of older Live versions on your system in case of stuff getting broken.
You could add a suffix to your project to indicate what version you made the project with (eg "Cool Weather_11.1.2.als").
Then if things get messed up and you don't even have that version installed any more, just re-download and re-install.
Bit of a pain but it's full-proof.
I myself am still on 11.0. When I installed the update after that, some projects started stuttering like crazy so it obviously wasn't optimized enough and needed faster hardware.
Also, some songs sounded different all of a sudden with a newer version/update. NOT good.

Recently I've mainly been using live as a tape deck. Just recording multitracks of performances that I'm doing OOTB, so 11.2 is just fine for me. I certainly don't need the new DJ warp analysis done on all my stuff. There's zero benefit to me in that.

So my explanations don't make sense? Because your answer here seems like they don't, and I'd like to know if it's the case or if maybe you're facing a bug.

Not sure I’d this helps but I turned off the asd file option in ableton so it does not make a million asd files of every sample I have ( super annoying). My MacBook is so fast that I don’t even notice a delay. Not sure if this impacts auto warp but it may be worth a try.

In addition to slow load times (including with 11.3.4), I've had multiple projects get corrupted and become unopenable. In the latest episode I lost 2 days of work. I was doing a ton of audio editing and none of the cropped and consolidated files were saved to the samples folder in the latest version of the project.
I've reported this to support, but be careful folks!

After the 11.3.0 version was released, the DAW crashes more often.

My issue (corrupt files) was resolved by updating plugins (DUNE 3) and/or updating my graphics card. Both solutions recommended by Ableton support.

Issue occurred on 11.3.4 about CAPTURE
after playing some notes, when I try to push the capture button on session view, in order to have the captured MIDI in a clip, the software crashes.
It often occurs, I'd say 1/3 of times I push the capture key on the top.
Of course, I submitted the bug file to Ableton

Any Serum instance in your set when this crash happens?
