Maybe because I recently bought Live 11 and it comes with a free upgrade to 12?

Have paid automatically and have received license this morning by email. However, a download of Ableton 12 seems to be unavailable. waiting, I guess, until tomorrow 5th March!
The interesting question is how different will it be to the Beta I’m running currently! I suppose a main one will be pointing to a nice Ableton 12 documentation set…

I had an email earlier today telling me my live 12 upgrade was ready for purchase. after making the purchase, I then got another email telling me my live 12 licence was ready for download. clicking on the link in that email took me to my account where it says I will get an email when Live 12 is ready to download.

Usually 12 or 1PM in your local timezone. i just get it when I keep using the beta for now. very stable.
So will it be upgrading 11 or the beta or can we keep 11 next to 12 and is it a new install?

Pretty sure, in the past, it’s been a new install. There’s probably a few more fixes, at the very least, in the general release

Probably. I'm keeping anyway my 12 beta as a separate install too to test new betas, then 11 and 12.
