Hey Patch,

I don't know if your crossfade routine was directed at my question but I'll give it a go next time I need it....what I do want to know is if the computer keyboard "alt" and "shift" keys can be mapped or triggered via a note on midi message?

Any thoughts???????

Sorry bout that - my message was not even aimed at this thread! You wanna check out "Bomes Midi Translator". You can use it to translate midi notes/messages to keystrokes and vice versa. Should do exactly what you want to do.

Thought so......but thanks for the reply.....

I am using Bome's MT and although the "alt" and "shift" key appear to map they won't trigger from my control surface. My goal was to put as many one press keys on the control surface.

PS - I was going to just purchase the wisemix product as it has a hack for the yamaha 01x but same thing...the alt and shift appear to map but no dice.........
