It will be entirely production work indeed. I doubt I'll ever exceed 30 tracks, but its good to know live can make the most of my hardware resources. I've heard some Trance compilations mixed using live alone, so I guess with the right skill at making clip variations, who the hell would need 50 tracks per single mix? =)
Then of course, after I get a good selection of tracks produced, maybe then think about mixing into one big chain compilation
