I think Props told them to kill that link or there would be a few dead Frenchies.

Fuck the props, how the fuck can you have a patent on a drum box?

hehe, milfbait, I think you should pop by the intellectual property thread ;)

Seriously though, it *was* more or less a direct clone, and I wouldn't be surprised if the propellerheads got a bit pissed off about it, I think the Redrum keeps a lot people in the reason camp - it's pretty damned good.

I hate to be waving the Reaktor flag all over town, but here's a clone for Reaktor users:

if the props are giving them a hard time that sucks. so they get permission to copy roland and then someone copies them and they get all pissy? bullshit. Seems to me that they ought to update there 4 year old software some day then they would not have to stress over things like this.

IMO it doesn't look much like Redrum at all. It has many of the same functions yes, but so does every VA softsynth. Can anyone confirm that it was definitely pulled because of Propellerheads?

I don't see anything about copyrights on the website and it's a free VST. I guess it's alright if I'll host it temporarily from my webspace:

* too late *

Disclaimer: If anyone feels their copyright is being infringed, please let me know through PM and I will take it down immediately.

BTW I haven't had the chance to try it out myself yet. I've just installed new harddrives and need to reinstall my music OS.

I downloaded the mutine, but the drum one download was nowhere to be seen!
