Well....
I have run Disk Warrior & am told that i need to reformat my
harddrive & reinstall everything. My LIVE 5 & other apps seem to
work ok at the moment (before reinstall), but i had something very strange happen.
I transferred a few .aiff files from Ableton Live to my friends mac
G4 laptop via his firewire external harddrive &.....when
he tried opening those files (in Logic Pro 7) on a system with no
cracked software.......KERNEL PANIC on his computer!!!
that makes 3 computers w/ this Kernel Panic! Two, i'm sure are
from the corrupt cd-rw's that i'll be mailing Apple Bug Reporter. but this
newest one seems to be from corrupted audio files (which....
Ableton Live support said they noticed from a crash log i sent
them). what is going on?
is all my data i backed up on the external harddrive i just
bought potentially corrupted? how can i check my files for this?
please help. this is getting stranger by the day....
