Hmmmm, I think the whole idea of beta testing is creating the log files, otherwise how could the abletons really get what is happening?

they only introduced them this time round, the last two major releases were done without them. Pretty sure usually on a beta test one of the last release candidates usually has the debug code removed - I might be remembering wrongly though, my memory is not one of my better features

As far as clip transport behavior in the arrangement side, I think all it needs now is to be able to hit [alt]+click in the timeline to set a start point. That's what I miss the most. It seems like I have to constanly reset the start position.
It would be great to be able to scub the loop on samples in session again. The way it is now, if I set a 3/16 loop over a breakbeat and scrub it, the loop only moves every beat instead of every 1/16. That was a lot of fun in Live3 & Live4.

I miss being able to move the start marker in the clip window with having it jump around. I know alot of people did not like the way it is in 5.01 but going back to the way it was in 4 after having this feature become a part of the way that i use live just sucks. Please alow us users that like the new feature a way to keep it. After all you did come up with it for a reason. I like it lets keep it in there some how.
Thanks for the hard work.

Yes,
please give us the possibility to choose how the clip transport behaves in the next release if it`s technically possible.
When moving a warpmarker that it behaves like L4 (not like L5b6

the revert thing you know

)
and clip start and loop transport without affecting the playpos, wich I hope you only stepped back because of a technical reason, and not as a feature.
The last beta runs fine for me beside a few occasional dropouts, I`m getting a new internal 5400 Hd in the next days and hope this will sort it out, now I`m using my external usb2, that could be the cause perhaps.
Greetings

I have to say that I'm amazed at Live, it's an incredible sequencer - but...
.....FINISH THE BLOODY SOFTWARE BEFORE YOU SELL IT TO US!
Waves plugins crash live 5 everytime. I thought in the update this would have been resolved. It seems like there are loads of bugs, I would have preferred to wait another 6 months for the real deal. Some people have said that it still feels like a beta version, and I strongly agree.
If it could host these extrenal plugins, like Live 4 did, it will stand up to the likes of LOGIC etc.
Please sort this issue out, you are steps away from making one of the most powerful production tools to date, and if it worked properly, you'd be making many people's studio time an absolute dream.
