The gigs at the Hi-Fi Club in Leeds, UK. its a club night called "Under the Trees", its kinda on an electro clash theme, LCD Soundsystem, DFA etc etc. Not all my music will fit the theme, but should be ok.Moody wrote:oh... and have a beer before you go on. Where is this gig at?
Ableton’s engineers are hard
at work developing code that will allow our software to predict the future, but we don’t
anticipate having this available until at least the next major release.

I know what these nerves are like, just wait until you are making your journey to you live set, you will be shitting yourself. Nerves are good though, this is what makes life enjoyable. All I can say is, go for it. If you make mistake, you make them, but at least you have the guts to try new things. I will always respect someone for trying something different, even though they don't suceed.
BTW. I am working on a guest mixes page for my site. THis will allow people to upload their own mixes to my ftp server so I can make a guest mixes page. Please let me know if you are interested.
Thanks,
Daniel.

i will suggest having an i-pod, cd, or vinyl record with your material on it ready to
mix in at a moments notice in case your kit takes a shit. that can buy you enough time to get back on track and re-booted. if you use an external hd
or midi unit that runs off exernal power, i'd consider a backup-battery/powerstrip
too(real cheap these days at computer stores) if you have the space and can deal with the extra weight.
other than that have fun!
cheers

If recording from masterbus in Live do not hit the space bar or you will have to arm the record button again...mosca wrote:record it

Thanks for your feedback, yeah, i use Fruity Studio and my sound sources are from anywhere really, cut up loops, soft synths, vinyl whatever tickles my fancy!BeyondReazon wrote:Hey Voodoo, you're music is fantastic it's right up my street, quite club friendly breaks-I'm certain you're gonna be fine on your gig!
What are you using are these tracks done in Live, and what are your main sound sources? You have some really sexy bass sounds!
glad you liked the tracks.
