best headphones

Anyone used Sony MDR-SA5000 or MDR-SA3000 for djin? I found SA3000 for $199.00, so rite now I am debating whether to buy this or Sennheiser HD-25. The new Sony headphones really look cool and features look impressive also.

I think the Sony MDR 7506 are much more flimsy.

interesting. the first headphones i bought ten years ago were the 7506s. i used them daily (mostly djing, where headphones tend to get the most wear) for 8 years with the only problems being the earpiece covers wearing out. they finally blew a speaker, so i got the v700s.
NEVER AGAIN. those were the biggest pieces of shit EVER! lasted for a little over a year with the basic swivel breakage problems that everyone has had with them.

went back to the 7506s and i am happy again.

now if only i could stop pinching my fingers when i close them up (if you've ever done this, you know what i mean)!
