Thanks AdamyJay, that does help a lot. I will go with a refurb G5 iMac...that should hold me over until the wintel machines come out. ;)

thanks for the real world performance, AdamJay. i'm thinking of going the imac route, eventually.
This 1ghz 12" is getting tired :(
