I dont have any problems with the EQ3 for mixing DJ style - I have them assigned lo,mid,hi to the 3 knobs vertically on my mixer and it just feels like a dj mixer to me...
interested to hear everyone's reasons for not using it.....

hey peeps just started playing out with the omnipresent 'live' and i have to agree with forge comin from a dj point of view the eq3 is much more akin to the hardware i'm used to using. I have modelled mine on the allen + heath xone62 with added beat repeats on each channel then key-mapped the on/off buttons to my midi controller. Played a couple of gigs and it has gone down really well. (would secretly like to have the xone3D though). are there any plans for ableton to bring out their own controllers
