Beer & informal Ableton chat & meeting Ableton-minded folks in London. Sounds good.
Hmmm... anyone got any good ideas for a location?? North or South of the river (I dont mind either)?? Saturday or a weekday evening??

There is a Cubase London Group that meets up every few months.

We usally meet up in Central London (the easiest for all) and ........

Get Pissed :D

It's very low key and a chance to chat about music and occassionally Cubase :?

It would be good to do something similar initially just to get people together and then maybe arrange something more 'official' and hand's on to discuss how we all work on Live etc.

I'm pretty free from Feb.

I happy enough to try and sort out a quietish bar for us to meet up.

How about early in the week at the end of Feb (or Friday if it's better for people - Just be wary that most places will be very busy)

Say Tues 21st or 28th ?

Let me know what you think.

Cheers

Sounds good to me, I also fancy organising a Northern meet. How many northern Live users..? say north of Sheffield all the way up to Glasgow are there?

Post a reply if u are up for a meet in say Manchester perhaps?

I'd be interested in attending a group...I can't guarentee I can bring much technical or musical knowledge to the group, though I'm up for the meeting, drinking, chatting part.

Me neither but getting some people with a shared interest but different ideas in a room is always a good thing.

I'd say we pick a bar in Soho on a weeknight. At least then it'll be reasonably quite and Soho is equally easy/difficult to get home from for everyone whereever they are in London.

I've put a small site together in an attempt to help Live users find other Live users local to them for collabs and stuff.

Its currently at:

But I'll move it to somewhere more memorable if it gets much use.

I got a very tidy venue sorted (Bar, 8 screens loads of tables and seating) for the North meeting in Sheffield, just need to hook up with Hambone1 about it :D

I'm up for a London meet.

I may even have a weekday venue but it'd be dahn sarf - Brixton to be precise. It's small and relatively quiet and we'd have access to the sound system...and the bar.
