hoffman2k, i've been using those fx liveclips lessons you did. i use them during my dj sets, amazing stuff!
i'm from belgium as well, so let me buy you a drink one of these days
i finally switched from using pioneer cdjs to dj-ing with ableton. it's just perfect. maybe i should share my way of doing it here...

Hey Bert,
Yeah i noticed you're belgian. Filterheadz sounded familiar.
I'm glad those lessons helped. If you are referring to the dummy clips effects, then you'll enjoy the thing i'm working on.
I'm making an fx chain that doesn't colour the sound when settings are "dry" on the dummy clip.
Here's the template i made for making the clips:

Next month i'll have the templates for some crazy filter tracks.
Happy holidays

great stuff!!
i'm using the trigger finger to dj. the first 8 pads are for triggering tracks and the other 8 are for triggering your fx clips...
apart from that i have hi&low pass filters (eq4), redux & delay sends assigned to the 8 knobs. so much fun to dj this way

and the kids love it!
cheeeeeeeeeerz,
bert
ps. of course i immediatly bought your sampling collection after i tried the lessons. super!

By sending a chord to the IAC driver track, you can launch as many MIDI-mapped clips as you want simultaneously, as long as they're in different tracks (128 max, actually...). Unlike a scene launch, they don't have to be in the same scene, either, which can be really useful.
Will control aid allow me to convert to cc's between the IAC driver and Live?

Perhaps someone can chime in with the PC equivalent.
Yes, it's "MIDI Yoke". Thanks to MIDI Yoke I can do the same stuff in Live on my Centrino lappy as I can do on my Powerbook, but with more horse power
