it's not the stuff i normally listen to, I'm more in to my breakcore orphan jive. Still, the sounds are good and the productions tight. reminds a bit of Robert hood.

Well I'm no expert and I'm waaayyy to old for clubbing, but this sounds great to me. I'm only listening on some cruddy sony headphones and my cheap home stereo (mind you what are most punters going to listen on?) but to me it sounds ideal late night with the lights low seeing where your brain goes music.

It doesn't seem to need mastering to me, though my ears are far from professional. I know some people have talked about the kick overwhelming the bass, but to be honest I'm not sure I agree. It's probably a matter of personal taste but I rather like the fact that the bass seems to provide an almost subliminal emphasis to the track.

Lovely use of space too. I wish I could get my delay and reverb working together as well as you do.

Not my taste of house (slash) / techno, but nice track anyhow. too "deep" for my taste. Just take care of the Tik/Oomph situation and you've got yourself a hit in whaterver the genre is ...

It's not really my style.... it feels like it's stuck between smooth chilled dance and lounge styles, or something...

Cool overall feel to it. The 'reversed' bit at 5:54 is sloppy - the beat drops in a bad way to my ears.

I agree the kick sounds too bassy at the start, it's fine later on in the mix though. Personal preference perhaps?

And to those who don't like the harmonies or think it's out of tune....? There is music after the beatles! Try listening to Portishead self titled, there's all sorts of wicked ass 'bad harmonies' there. Or maybe Miles Davis - Bitches Brew!!! Ok, there not even playing in the same key as each other on that album. It's still good though! If it makes you uncomfortable go and listen to some Beethoven or something.

Seriously though, I'd recommend anyone go out and buy Bitches Brew and listen to it over, and over, and over, and over until you really can't stand it (or more likely you'll love it). When you come back to listening to 'normal' music, everything will sound so ordered and predictable in comparison it's not funny. Shit I sidetracked myself and this whole thread. Sorry. It makes it easier now for me to let it go and take my own music for what it is, in stead of never really finishing a track (my biggest problem) and let it lead it's unfinished life on my harddisk

i'm hearing plenty of 'tik' in this kick it on my BX-8s; if anything i might (might) have rolled a bit of it off to my taste

but it sounds great; its nice and prominent throughout the track without overpowering anything. nice and warm. no problem.

again, this is a really nice well balanced track i think. i wouldnt mess with it too much, its done

it's really nice to get such a positive vibe from so many people!
all of you probably know how you can make yourself crazy with insecurities about your own music: on one day you love it, on the next day you ask yourself why you are even trying...

getting it out there and getting such good and wellthought advice/critics really helps to take some distance from the little circle it normally stays into, and therefore more accept my music for what it is.
you guys just contributed a lot to that...
