I'm using Live 2.0.3 with a MOTU 2408 MK3 and the PCI-424 driver in Mac OSX 10.2.6.

No problems, except for the new window I get ( "Would you like to recover your work...) when I choose "Close Live Set" or "New Live Set" without Saving. Trying to determine (in another post) if this is normal or an upgrade glitch.

Hi harb & miller325,

thank you. This really good to know. I hope I can get some information from the crash log kenn.michael will send me.

miller325,
the issue with of the message box "Would you like to recover your work..." is a bug in Live 2.0.3. It will be fixed with the next version.

regards,
Alex

Hmmm... The problem is that Live won't boot with all 72 I/O channels active. I can run the program with 48 channels (2 2408 boxes), but not with 3 boxes.

Hi kenn.michael,

currently Live has a 64 channel I/O limit. So it's not possible to use more, but of course it should not crash :).

Alex

kenn.michael,

Just a thought: you say "Live crashes every time I select the 424 driver". In Live 2.0.3 under OSX, when you go to Preferences, then select the Audio tab, if you select "Core Audio" as Device Type, doesn't Live automatically select "PCI-424" as Output Device and Input Device? It did for me.

Live 2.0.3/ OSX 10.2.6/ MOTU 2408 MK3/ PCI-424
