:(

But I dream about moving down under one day. It seems like such a wonderful place to go to escape the growing political repression here in america! You must help me get in, otherwise one day the secret police will come and take me away! We have four cats but we never let them leave the house, I swear!!! Oh dear, it's now tomorrow in Melbourne...... or is it still this morning......... so will you read this when you wake up yesterday?

If I leave now and travel on a fast enough plane will I get there before I left?

8O

If you wont have me than perhaps I shall try New Zealand!

it's 2.20 am, I've been doing a nice toon in the background and drinking home brew with some weed, so i'm in a good mood - havent been doing much lately, but I raided some reaktor presets and sampled/warped etc and got some nice beats going

I'm feeling like technically I'm starting to get the hang of writing choons, but musically, I'm not sure what I'm into any more or where to take it - still loving house and techno and derivatives, but I sem to be getting a bit fed up and after something different, but no idea what!

I've been doing more downtempo electro as well and seem to be enjoying it - really exploiting the mix of Live5+Komplete2 - that pro53, absynth, reaktor and FM7 are amazing sounding beasties sometimes I sit stunned in awe...I also LOVE the Battery 1 sound library - but I'm not sure if I use it for more than the sound library - I think if the impulse lib was better and you could chain them to give as many slots as battery then I'd use just impulse instead of battery

still use microtonic alot too, it would be cool to see an operator-group based drum synth like that

He went through the basics and stuff which was good. The advanced stuff he went through was really awesome for me. He showed us a set which he had made that was Live set up as an emulation of the TC Finalizer and a mod of that which turned Live into a PSP Vintagewarmer... Robert if you check this.. you know I want a copy of those ALS files...

The overall vibe was one of Robert showing us Live from his perspective as opposed to a marketing presentation.

There were close to 100 people there, which is quite a big crowd for this kinda thing so all in all it was great.

Thanks Robert.

WOW, this sounds HOT. Where can we get some of this?

good turnout for the Brissie Live workshop, apparently 134!

Was a good workshop, some good tips and Robert demonstrated his wonderful singing abilities and how many different ways he can butcher them with live.

then he did a nice low key gig in the Emerald room upstairs in the pavillion, west end which was a nice and chilled thursday night

I dont think I'll be able to make it to the EarthFreq festival, but I think it will be good, so if you can get there then do it!
