How much is it to ugrade from 4 to 5?

One thing I wonder is, when registering for the upgrade, abletons' sie asks you if you're EU o Non-EU.
Now, I'm if I'm buying from EU the *non boxed upgrade* (no shipping required) but declare to be buying from USA, I get a $199 price which would be about 40 Euros cheaper than the EU version, priced 199 Euros.
My question is: is it legit to buy in dollars from the Euro area? This would make the offer even more killer.

The special upgrade price of 99 EUR/USD is also only available until March 6, 2006.

Hi abletoff,
unfortunately this is illegal. You have to give a correct billing address even if you buy a download version. And the webshop will not allow you to set a Euro country if you buy in Dollars and vice versa.
But like you said this offer is already a killer.

Thanks for the quick answer, Bernd... it is as I supposed not legal
pity I'll have to save more for operator
I guess I'll euro-upgrade anytime soon.
