TOTAL agreement! I own Pluggo and love Max/MSP, but PACE keeps me from buying Max/MSP, and I'm thinking about selling Pluggo, simply because it's the only PACE piece of software I own.
Thinking the same thing about Logic, love the program, but Digital Performer is looking better and better all the time.

What was the original poster referring to? Does the audio fade out randomly if you have a cracked version or something?

I once used a cracked version of some CD burning software, and they put a little anti-piracy measure in there which I found out the hard way... it would randomly insert "SCREEEEEEEEEECCCHHHH!!! ILLEGAL COPY. SCREEEEEEEEEEEECH" into a track every 10 CDs or so. I learnt my lesson. :)
