I second the Ultrafunk,
and also Timeworks Reverb;
And Rayverb, if you're mixing something. this one is a blast on anyone's CPU.

Go to the PSP website they have what your looking for.

i suggest saving and going lexicon.

this is the only thing, where i (only MVHO) really prefer hardware over software. a lexicon or Eventide or the TC 3000 is very hard to beat.

software: the altiverb is certainly a very fine reverb, also i like the TC native bundle reverb a lot, but it's actually not really good, but somehow i like it's nasty sort of low fi character and tend to use it alot.

the Live reverb with a long enough decay and some delays before and after in the fx chain sounds pretty rad IMHO.

but i love these so....



i think audiodamage makes a plugin version of it which sounds equally as awesome.

Lexicon impulses from Noisevault and a convolution reverb.

SIR is free;

ConvoBoy Lite is also free and has better performance/latency, if you want even better performance regular ConvoBoy is something like 20 Euro - really cheap.

You only get a simple envelope to shorten the reverb but there are so many impulses on the net there's always a good one. You can of course also EQ/gate flange before or after. I easily manage to run 2 or 3 on top of VST synths/loops/vocals on an AMD 3200

As far as I know it doesnt support AU...!? But I dowloaded the Neodynium compressor demo (AU/VST) and it shows up in PT... So maybe it is supported anyway...!?!?

Gotta ask the Protools wiz at my work on monday... Will post the clever answer...

Ahh yes, the lesxicon 480 ofcurse! A timeless classic if you got the bucks for it.. And the TC m3000 sounds amazing aswell... Really sweet... But dont go for the M2000... Very metalic sound IMO... If its software and you have the money, go for the TL space... A convolution verb wich is fantastic...

I'm gonna have to refer back to my CSR recommendation. This is modelled on the Lexicon and from all accounts and listens they have come very close. I wouldn't go IR to emulate the Lexicon myself.

yupp of course the 480, but you do not have to step so high, when it comes to lexicon... even the budget lexicons are absolut fantatsic considering the money you pay. but i agree on the TC stuff there only the 3000 is cutting it, otherwise you are better of, well choosing a smaller lexicon.

software: i think pretty much all the convolution reverbs are fine, it's then more about finding the right impulses you like.
