not as much as on the roads ;)

seriously on that pict the trains were stopped or smtg... usually platforms are not *that* crowded and there are trains every 2 min.
pretty good subway system actually

That's cool... I take public transporation every day. I don't own a car right now (haven't in years) and actually enjoy it for the most part. The subway stations or rapids don't run that often (about 15 minutes or so) but they get me back in forth Downtown o.k. Every year it seems, someone dies falling off a paltform the same time a train is coming. I don't understand that seeing that the platform is really big for the most part. In that photo you posted it looked really narrow, like you could get bumped off with all of those people.

As far as the buses here in Cleveland, they are the worst. Filled with dregs of society mostly or just straight up degenerates. It's too bad because in a city like Chicago, people of all kinds professionals, familes, bums too, all take them. Here it's just raw as hell and the drivers are miserable carting them around all day. But the trains, they are fine for the most part...

i've owned six tour vans since i was 16.
the first was an '82 chevy(in '86), the current is a '98 chevy express 1500
(full size, six cylinder)
nice thing about technology and equipment is now i can bring a full band without a trailer....
or bring a full band in my laptop and borrow the wife's convertible 2-seater :)
