A seven hour loop??! Do you play very long sets by any chance?

so you basically could push play and then take a nap?

this thread is interesting, i have never got how people use live to dj.
these screen shots are starting to make it clear.
from what im getting people that use live to dj are just using it as a beefed up media player?

yes, it's really complex, to play and to hear, that's the problem...

Mines useually just large in trackcount though, can't wait to have track folders to clean up that mess, I hate scrolling left and right all the time

Some people are using that way and admitting it some people are using it that way and pretending not too, everyone disses them, some people will trigger scenes, some people will trigger individual clips... M. Breqs had a great post about 'degrees of difficulty', about halfway down the page:

I'm building up a set, 50 or so songs so far. The challenge is finding interesting songs with the right textures for mashing and having a variety of tunes too.
