I read in an interview you gave about some guy berating you on using too many spoken word samples in your music. I didn't feel that way at all, and hope that you don't take that guys advice.
:D Well, I actually tried my best to stay sample-free, mainly because it has proven to be a major problem with lables showing an interest in releasing me - not the fact that there are samples, but that they are not cleared. So, now I have to make a decision every time I use a voice-sample: Will I ever want to put it out on a label or am I simply happy having it on my webpage for free (or make alternate versions)?
So far, being released on a label hasn't seemed worth it to me - this music is my own private indulgence and being contractually obligated to another party seems stifling.

With that said, the new tracks do have some samples in there - but I steer clear of fancy Hollywood productions as much as I can.

I really appreciate you spreading the word.

The track on my myspace called In Your Own Time came out almost like a Schnauss-clone - totally unintended, but the resemblance was uncanny
Top stuff, really liked this tune. Would love to know more about how you went about creating it ? In particular the drum kit :)

Maybe you could put it in the next Soundwrecks!!

Also adding my vote for that stockfinster stuff, very nice too.

Oops my bad -- its Equinoxe Super Deluxe v2.0

It just got those beautiful, sparse lo-fi tones that seem integral to BoC's sound. And if you took all of the other features in Reaktor 5 away and left me with only this, I'd still pay $500 for it, any day.
