not the warp markers for midi thing isnt going to make it into this one

we saw a fleeting glimpse, but then it vanished in a flash

Aha - so it is coming sometime (possibly Live 7) then? Great...

And for now I guess that bouncing tracks to Audio in the arrangment is a good idea, and then slaving them to the "master" - am I understanding this correctly?

In the demo I did I used the warped audio breakbeat to groove quantize midi - on the fly. Does that answer your question?

Sounds awesome and I'll look forward to seeing how that works 8)

Is this a demo you've done that will actually ship with Live 6?

master tempo in session view

Did anyone ever figure out a way of setting the master tempo to a clip in session view?

Anyone make a plug-in?

Is it likely to be in the next major update or do you reckon the focus is going to be in a different area?
