PC only and it's not a real 303 emulation.
It sounds good in it's own respect. Has that nice kind of psytrance bassline to it.

But it's way different from ABL in terms of coming near the true 303 bassline.

Its a emu of the devilfish mod 303.
Imo the d16 sounds less harsh.

But still if u put any emu next to a real 303 u will spott lots of difference

Yeah, nothing beats the real deal.
ABL Pro can do sounds that go near the devilfish mod. But D16 does a good job in that respect too.

I guess there are some flavors to choose from. Which is nice.

Not a soft synth version, but have you tried :http://rolandclan.info/en/samples/index/

you can download real samples at different strengths and i dropped it into simpler or with 909 samples dropped them into impulse.. they sound sooo good!

i have never had a real 303, but I concur with one poster here, the phoscyon demo sounds better to me than does the bassline pro.

Hi, I'm the developer of ABL and ABL Pro. A customer made me aware of this thread. I'm not sure why some of you guys are comparing ABL Pro to the 303..? Its not designed to be a 303 clone or extension. It is designed to do sequenced type sounds. Given some of the responses I can only draw the conclusion that ABL Pro has fallen between chairs marketing-wise. If you want 303 sounds please demo the standard ABL instead of ABL Pro.

Cheers,

Mike

Hey Mike,

I think you get the wrong idea about this thread. ABL Pro is hardly mentioned. We're (mostly) talking about the differences between psychon and ABL.
