okay so as far as mixing live (at a gig) goes with that, if I can only program 3 channels/clips, I would only work with 3 clips - stupid question I guess...but sometimes at gigs I just pre-do my set (of about 15 tracks) and give them seperate clips, and pre-set the EQ's etc

I do everything on the fly but I only use three channels too.

so I would just basically re-use the clips.

Hmm not sure what you mean. Roughly the way I go about things is to have a looped section that is the intro to a song and layer that over an outro and any other loop that I want to use then go into the song body,as it were. Then keep going like that. If I hear a nice vocal say I'll loop that up and maybe mix out of the track with that. etc etc. I only need three tracks for that as like things not to be too 'muddy' in the mix.
