So now, you can all send me a check to my address for this tip.
There are some neat ensembles to try like grainstates (theremine like) inside live.
Anyone tried Project5? You can play VSTis and DXis inside live via midi rewire. Works great actually. High cpu count but you can play them live.

don't want to dissapopint you, but sequenzing reaktor in fx mode has been mentioned before (maybe on the reaktor forum...)
no offends, but i think this method is quite obvious, i was amazed at the reaktion to your post - so somebody might send you a cheque
claudek, i used to work with the r4 fx plug before i updated reaktor to version 4.03 and had no problems in os x. don't update to 4.03 if you want to use reaktor in live (the old plugs won't work - at least on my machine). did you try the old plug ins from version 4.0 and 4.01? I think i used the vst from r 4.0. give it a try...

Haven't tried this yet, as I am waiting for the weekend, when we can
i) use Mach-O vst
ii) set start point outside of loop markers
iii) mute selected regions of loops
iv) apply envelopes to regions in loops

as i said, as far as i know, for r4 vst in live you'll need version 4.02, so maybe you should (a lot of trouble though, in case you have to go through the whole unlocking process again...)
