@ ishimaru and some other
I say if it isn't working for you ... Don't buy it. Simple. If there are better tools use those.
Yes, sure, you are right, that's what I wanted to say with my post

, and what I am doing. But don't misunderstand me: I love Live for being able to record ideas fast and it's ability for live usage, and I think it can get a better tool. But those simple improvements I was talking about could have been implemented before.
I'd rather not comment about it, cause it's still a beta, but the arrangement performance has been greatly improved lately.
currently, i don't feel no lag anymore (and i was also upset with L5).
Thanks peeddrroo, that sounds quite good!
@the dark wizard
you shouldnt have bought live 5 if it was missing features your were longing for. whats the point in spending more money on live when its still not giving you what you want.....
We needed Live for a Band project, so I bought it. And I haven't read any bad complaints about time-lag at this time, and simply thought this fault have been due to fast development of Live and should be solved then. But - I learned from that! And as other said, too: My post was aimed as a suggestion for improvement of Live and as a hint for ableton to think about their product placements!
@Eraldo Bernocchi
And I use Live since V3.0, and you were bringing it to the point what I am thinking.
@quandry and theque
Yes, that's what I greatly appreciate, and it may be one of the reasons I bought updates without much thinking

On the other side, there are not many software companies come to my mind which ask their customers every year for some more money...
So I will wait some time, and see how the wind blows in the next year...
