Good question.
All in the box these days. I dug out my old mixer recently, but it took up space and involved more cable mess.........and in the end I gave up on it (again). If the faders on the mixer could control the faders in Live, or if I was suddenly doing more straight ahead studio multiple tracking again etc, I'd reconsider....but am really used to mousing about and/or using an FCB 1010 these days.
