yea but he tested a QUAD CORE that is much faster on a core by core basis than my machine. 9% sounds right to me.

Quad cores ROOL. Plus, that's just the most basic setup. I couldn't get the Mac Pro to recognize either one of my external interfaces, neither the FW410 or the Lexicon. Secondly, that's beta software and has debugging code that actually might have been slowing the system down, so the total performance might actually improve from 9% later on

but i saw mac talking to that digital camera from japan on TV! how could this be?!?!?!

it's because m-audio are garbage and their drivers suck (yah you need drivers
for them, even on a mac.. instead of using coreaudio, which is awesome, they
wrote drivers... morons...)

I lost count on how much reverbs (decay wide open)and albino's i put in there
