is anyone using the audiorealism bassline to make acid ? Seems like a luxury to be able to program the cutoff & resonance parameters with cc envelopes

here, straight chicago acid and some breakbeat variations, great fun jamming and recording into arrangement the rez/cutoff/envelope mangling. it's sick. i can upload a tune in myspace if you want to check it, later though.

I tried the Pro version. Just wanted some 303 bizzle, but seemed like a sea of options and everything but that. The glide is nice tho.
Didnt really have the time for it, but I guess once you get into it u can get some good sounds out.

nae bother. can't notice any stepping, as for aliasing, i don't think so, if it's there I can't hear it but you might want to play with the demo, different ears. the tune i'll upload is a straight jam into a live track set to resample so what you hear is live tweaking of it, pretty smooth.
there's is no glide button as such, you play with the note lengths and the accent level and where the notes overlap you get that typical glide effect, its based on notes placement as far as i call tell...

abl comes so close that you're audience won't know the difference (and i mean; you are not doing it only for those 5 geeks like ourselves that actually understand what you are doing and with what, right?) and ablpro is ace allround; just recently really been diging into it, and together with the onboard sequencer you can get some instant funk that is pretty hard to get otherwise.
some labelbuddies of mine almost only use ablstuff for their productions
(also a certain beta version of a drummachine vst they/abl are working on,abl is a friend of theirs)
