discontinued at guitar center doesn't mean discontinued by behringer...
gc carries stuff they buy in bulk, and mark as discontinued when sold out.
could be wrong on the behringer end, tho.....
anyway, i'm all about the bcr 2000 for the functionality and size...not to mention i don't have to zero anything to open a new set!
i have two now, if it really is discontinued i'm buying a few more.

I can't speak for anything but the uc33e and the bcr2000.
The only drawback on the bcr2000 that I love about the uc33e is that you can set the global send MIDI channel on the uc33e in any preset. Say I have a preset, but I don't want to control something on MIDI channel 2, set the global channel to 3. voila.
No such feature for the BCR. You have to program the global channel for the preset.
But the BCR is still much better, IMHO.
