maybe I'm just retarded.
if they gave presets with it maybe it would be more usable.
In the bottom-left is a Note button.. click on the padlock here.
I agree with what you said, and once felt as you do, but give it some patience, as it's now my dblue Glitch replacement for Mac.
There's a great video of it here:

wow, I cant believe no one beat me to the Instajungle. there is no fancy GUI but I use that on a send/return more than beatrepeat. there is also the "Buffer Override" I think from destroy effects, One of the smartelectronix guys, that can achieve a cool stutter whith a long syncable buffer, Another classic.

I love buffer override! Hopefully they'll port it to Universal Binary some day...

REAKTOR has all the nice GLEX stuff which is kind of beat repeat but a bit weirder.. and nicely has a 'trigger' key which only works when you hold it down...

Just off the top of my head there is also "Gleetchlab 2" and "I am the mighty jungulator" but these are more of your stand alone FSU apps than plugins. Although Gleetchlab does seem to have rewire (on my system anyway)

for slicing/reorder/stutter things the iosplonki is def. my favorite
tool. (i barely touch beatreapeat). Ioplong from smartelectronix
has done a fantastic job on this (his other stuff is also recommended).
It's donationware - means that you can use it free with a little nagscreen
when it starts, or make a donation.

Does anybody know if the current version of Artillery is binary universal for Macs? Ableton can't see the demo and the website isn't exactly filled with information.

Artillery might not even be of sufficient recentness VST 2.5 or so to work in Live 6.

I wrote to support and they going to release a new version of Artillery in June that will be universal binary.

There is a huge thread on KVR about this.

live cut, phutboy slim, tape stop, scratch down.... all in one rack
you can do some crazy shit and have full control over everything! (no more of that random "oh, it's stopped glitching my tunes for no reason" like you sometimes get with supatrigga.
