I've had my eye on this all summer, it should be out soon and is half the price of the SPD series. Roland's had the market cornered for too long with the SPDs at too high of a price.

I hit my trigger finger with drum sticks, but I'm a gentle drummer and I wouldn't recommend wacking them that hard.

Use sticks, hands, or fingertips. Some of the on-board sounds are pretty decent, too.
