I love Numerology! The global groove clock rocks. Compared to Live I like the option in Num to play around in real-time with beat division of sequences (kicking them into different tempi). This is is well implemented in Num since you can set "Hardsync" value to bring crazy stuff back to the downbeat on a regular interval. Some people use MAX/msp to cook up patches like that but to me it seems a quicker and more fun way to go with Numerology.

I'm probably going to go ahead and buy it, but I wish there was a VST/AU format specifically for MIDI plug ins. Say you could load Numerology as a MIDI plug in in a MIDI track in Live before a soft synth! Or more conveniently as a separate MIDI track, then feed whatever instrument or FX you wanted to with Live's routing. 8O

No need to Rewire, or load as a separate plug in at all. That, would be really really really cool.

Basically, if Live could route MIDI between plug ins!

You can use Num right now as a MIDI Clock synced "MIDI step sequencer" and pipe the MIDI streams right into Live tracks hosting soft synths. But my guess is that when Numerology 2.0 comes out, any day now, it will be a better idea to ReWire sync it to Live. I mean, that's much more rhythmically tight compared to MIDI Clock sync.
