Zebra 2, of course: http://u-he.com
Vember Surge: http://vemberaudio.se
Vaz Modular: http://www.software-technology.com
Guru: http://www.fxpansion.com

I do like Reaktor and Absynth and Kontakt a lot though, and B4 and Guitar Rig are cool too, although I don't think I would have bought them individually.

Not sure if this would be any help but their CDXtract app is indispensable around these parts so it's probably fab.

pretty much exactly what I was expecting: updates to fm7, battery, absynth, and akoustic piano got added to komplete. But I definitely didn't expect that so soon! I figured those other ones would be updated this fall, but I reckoned maybe komplete 4 would come out after Christmas (with Bandstand added as well as AP -wrong.)

Battery 3 now has reverb and delay sends within it. I'm liking the sounds of that, it's just what I was waiting for actually. and it imports sliced loops. very nice.

Better midi assigning in Absynth is quite welcome, and some other goodies like wave morphing or whatever for granular/wavetable type stuff. ooooooohh.

Looks like a decent overhaul on the user-friendliness of fm7 to fm8. I just hope the cpu useage of these badboys hasn't gone through the roof. Absynth and fm7 were beautifully low cpu on my powerbook.

And there are macro knobs poppin' up all over the place now on these! Hopefully this translates well for my remote SL. 8O

Given that I've got komplete 3 sittin' around without being able to use it (I'm on a macbook), I'm quite happy about all this, since I gots to be updating this shizzle anywhoo....

The Massive synth preview sounds amazing, but pppppffffhpphftt. Free with Kore? I will never touch Kore so long as it's still a big god-damned dongle for N.I. plugs.

Hello credit card, goodbye sampler.

Actually, I'll probably wait a few months until the paid-for-public-beta-testing-period is over for all this. As usual it'll probably all be released in alpha. bastards. why does it have to sound so good.

I bought Komplete Care in july and it looks like I came out smelling like roses with that gamble!

Komplete 4 is a free update, ( I own 2, so it's even better for me!), and a nice huge discount coupon for the NI shop! Plus universal binaries when they hit!
I didn't purchase Komplete 3 because guitar Rig does not include the hardware in Komplete, and though I want the software, I didn't see the value, and I don't care about the Elektric Piano... With Acoustic Piano, I think it's SWEET!

from what I've read they just added a slew of internal FX, some internal sound morphing capabilities, and an arpegiator, sounds like the right direction considering I agree that it's sound right now, is fine.

Sure there is. It's not UB.

However the internal sequencer/arpeggiator and the morphing thingy look wicked too.

yeah, but that was supposed to be a US$25 upgrade. and there's nothing wrong with FM7. like I need another arpegiator. or more effects. just sounds like an uneeded CPU hike on a plugin that is basically PERFECT.

Basically what they did with R3 back when we were moving to OS X.

I will never forget the years of pain that followed.

NI are SCUM. SCUM. SCUM.

Do not give them money. They don't deserve it.
