Lets get something similar for Ableton Live !
Even though you could just do that through Itunes, I can see for dj purposes being able to pull up two covers at the same time in ableton for remixing could be cool. Having a virtual vinyl crate in ableton would def attract more DJ's.

I always thought it would be nice to store CD/album graphics in the ASD file, and then have them viewable in the Help Pane when scrolling in the browser. Don't want to see them, just close the help pane.

Before you suggest this idea, i would check and see how much ram the glorious cover flow in iTunes uses. You should be pretty amazed. I sure as hell wouldnt want anything even close to that if i was running live on a laptop. Not if i cant put more than 2 gigs in.

I just checked activity monitor while dragging the scrollbar around in coverflow in itunes, and it was using around 20% cpu on a macbook (the integrated gpu may be complicating this a little). So no, not a good idea.

It can be an option.

its not just cpu. you should notice it grabbing about a gig of ram depending on exactly what you have. its just like widgets when you have a shit load of them running.
