It's likely something different happened the 2nd time, too. But personally, I think it's unforgivable that the election was even close enough for "something different" to have happened. He should have been out by a landslide, and probably would have been if Americans weren't all spooked by the endless fear-mongering that's been rampant in the media since the R's came into power.

Come to think of it, our electoral college is "something different" in the first place. Generally different enough that I know my vote won't make the slightest difference in a presidential election.

take away the vote rigging and Bush did not win either election.

When it's close it makes all the difference.

Some people are not so quick to condemn Bush. For example, some would argue that he has done more to destroy the US empire than anyone could have imagined. He has been remarkably effective in that regard.

If the presidential election were tomorrow.... and it was Bush vs. Kerry, or Bush vs. Gore, or Bush vs. Hillary Clinton... I would vote Bush again in a heartbeat.

How about bush vs McCain or any other republican contenders

kranky you missed the point completely.

Its irrelevant who wins, the same agenda is pushed forward whoever is in the puppet's seat. Im not telling anyone they should do nothing, just that they should do the right things rather than something that achieves nothing.
The things you outlined didnt happen because it was republicans in charge, they would've happened whatever, its just that you can make it more blatent with republican government.

It's not as simple as that. (It ought to be, but it isn't.) Just one example - I live in a state that votes overwhelmingly Democratic. Kerry took our state as expected. I could have stayed home, or I could have voted 1000x, the number of electoral votes won by Bush and Kerry would not have changed an iota. It's a weird wacky system. Definitely worth doing some research.
